“Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
We are pleased to offer a variety of extracurricular and enrichment opportunities at MHA. Whether athletics, drama, or student council, we view each of these activities as an opportunity to demonstrate excellence in service, leadership, work ethic and community.
Drama
Drama students learn the ins-and-outs of theater and all aspects of putting on a production. All participating are eligible to audition for the school production performed during the spring semester.
Choir
“Voices of Hope” is a performing ensemble that explores a broad repertoire of exciting music throughout the year. This group performs together for chapel, school programs, and community events.
Athletics
Athletic offerings may vary from year to year depending on student body make-up and interest. In the past, our students have participated in soccer, volleyball, track and more.
Student Council
Student Council provides a platform for students to develop and practice leadership skills to positively impact their school and community
National Honors Society
Students demonstrating excellence in scholarship, service, leadership and character, may qualify for membership in Marian Hope Academy’s NHS chapter.
Missions & Community Service
Service is part of MHA culture. Students of all ages participate in planning and executing an annual missions fundraiser at the school, and also have a variety of other opportunities to lead through service on campus and in the community.
Culinary Arts & Nutrition
Food affects how we think, feel, function, and behave. We want to inform and empower our students as well as other kids and adults in the community about the power and importance of a healthy diet.
We currently offer an introductory cooking class that teaches essential kitchen skills to use for life, tasty ways to incorporate fresh fruits and veggies into recipes, and how to create balanced & flavorful meals, and keys to making desserts without refined sugar.
