Marian Hope Academy exists to educate and nurture the whole child. We draw from neuroscience and research-based best practices to provide an education that honors the uniqueness of every student.
The Marian Hope Difference
Our generation has inherited an education system based on 18th century Industrial Revolution factory models–models that were developed for efficiency in mass-production of goods, rather than for the development of healthy, well-rounded and uniquely gifted children.
Marian Hope Academy breaks with outmoded educational trends in favor of developmentally appropriate, research-based methods of education.
MHA’s methods are based in neuroscience, emphasizing a multi-sensory approach to education as a powerful way to develop understanding and establish new neurological pathways. All students need to learn through hearing, seeing, doing, writing and speaking—although each will discover the styles that best suit them as a unique learner.
The goal is to not only provide children with every opportunity for learning, but to equip them in becoming self-aware learners, so they can partner in (and eventually take ownership of) their own learning process. We understand that this process will look different for every student– and we unapologetically champion the uniqueness of every child.
