Salvation by Grace
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, given to all who place their trust in His Son Jesus, the Christ, and honor him as the Lord of their life. (Matthew 16:21-26, John 3:16-19, 14:6, Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9-13, Ephesians 2:4-9, 1 John 5:9-12)
The Bible is the Holy, Inspired Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. We hold that it is authored by the Holy Spirit and provides us with the foundation for every tenet of our faith. (Numbers 23:16-19, John 1:1-14, 2 Timothy 3:15-17)
God Exists in Three Persons – The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 12:28-31, 1 John 5:7)
Virgin Birth of Christ
We believe that Jesus, the Christ, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18-23)
Christ Died for Our Sins
We believe in the vicarious atoning death of Jesus, who died on the cross so that we might live, offering Himself up as the perfect sacrifice for sinful man. (Romans 5:6-10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10)
Bodily Resurrection and Ascension of Christ
We believe that Christ is the risen savior. Jesus rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. (Acts 1:8-11, Romans 8:31-35)
Present Ministry of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling in all believers enables them to live holy and Christ-like lives. (Romans 8:13-14, 1 Corinthians 3:16 & 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30, 5:18)
Fruits and Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit for the edification of the body of believers and enabling the believer to live a life pleasing to God. (Matthew 7:13-23, Acts 2:38, Romans, 12:4-8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-12, 1 Corinthians 13:1-3)
The Call to Holiness
We believe that every Christian is called to a life of holiness, to be fully set apart unto God. Children are to heed this call through obedience to parents, loving their neighbors, and respecting authority. All believers should set an example for others in their speech, conduct, passion, and lifestyle of purity. We are to honor God with every part of our lives: our minds, hearts, relationships and physical bodies. (1 Peter 1:14-16, 1 Peter 2:9, 1 Tim 4:12, Matthew 22:37)
The Integrity & Sanctity of Marriage
We believe that marriage is a holy covenant ordained by God as displayed through the Genesis creation of Adam and Eve. We hold that God’s design for marriage is that one man and one woman be joined together, in exclusive union. The judgment of Scripture is that marriage is to be honored by all and is the only appropriate context for sexual intimacy. (Genesis, 1-27-28, Hebrews 13:4)
